An untold story which keeps the reader engaged throughout. Forget the fables of William Wallace (!) - Robert Kett is in town!
Norwich was the second biggest city in England, yet somehow this story has passed largely ignored, and thankfully Tim Holden reinstates this gallant, heroic story to its rightful place in history.
I’d encourage anyone interested in learning what shaped England, Norfolk and it’s contribution towards modern democracy to read this gripping and interesting historical novel. I really enjoyed it!

This is a great story about a significant historical event that I’d previously not know anything about.

Fantastic characters, brilliant narrative and I learnt something in the process.

A debut novel by an author I’m looking forward to reading more from. Very well written and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
